Auckland The City Of Sails
New Zealand's largest city, Tamaki-makaurau Auckland City is one of the most diverse multicultural cities in the world. In one day you can walk the shores of the golden sand beaches, enjoy the hustle and bustle of city life shopping and take a punt at the Sky City Casino with breathtaking views at the top.

There is no surprise why Auckland is the largest city in New Zealand, the region was once a volcanic hot spot with 48 volcanos in the region. It now takes advantage of this fertile land producing a lot of produce for New Zealand.

Auckland City lies between two harbours. These have over 50 islands sprinkled through them and the most well-known is Waiheke Island, a short scenic 40 minute ferry from downtown. Waiheke Island is full of some of the best wineries in the country, there are cafes over looking stunning beaches and also beautiful native bush to explore.
Golf Courses
The Auckland region is spoilt for choices for a golfer, Auckland has array of different types of courses all in the space of 45 mins of the CBD. Auckland has links, parkland, in land links and luxury resorts Auckland has it all.
Muriwai Golf Course
Muriwai is a hidden little sanctuary just 45 mins out of Auckland CBD, it a beach surfing community which also has one of the best courses in New Zealand Muriwai Golf Course.
Muriwai is an all weather links course where you can really be exposed by the elements. The course presents fantastic panoramic views of the Tasman Sea and is always in superb condition.
Gulf Harbour Country Club
Gulf Harbour Country Club is situated a 45 min(from the CBD) drive up the East Coast of Auckland's North Shore. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr in time for hosting the 1998 World Cup Of Golf, this attracted some of the best golfers in the World to play the event. The course is over looking the sparkling blue waters of the scenic Hauraki Gulf. Holder of two New Zealand Opens the golf course is challenging but fair.
Whitford Park Golf Course
Whitford Park golf course is situated just 25 mins from the CBD heading east. A parkland golf course set in rural backdrop with beautiful indigenous trees and streams in the Whitford Valley, the course has some best fairways you'll ever play and the greens are always in good order, this course will challenge you but get well rewarded for well played shots.
Wainui Golf Course
Wainui Golf Course is a exciting new recent development to the Auckland golfing community. A championship golf course with an inland links style but set in a rural backdrop. The course is situated 20 mins up the North Shore of the Auckland motorway.
The course is demanding off the tee but offers a unique five set of tee boxes to suit your ability.
Titirangi Golf Course
Titirangi Golf Course is personally my favorite course in Auckland. It is the only Dr Alister Mackenzie golf course design in New Zealand, Mr Mackenzie is known for designing golfing masterpieces such as the Augusta National, Cypress Point and Royal Melbourne to just name few. The course is situated in close proximity to the Auckland CBD and even closer to the Airport.
Titirangi palys to a par 70 of just over 6000 meters from the black tees and also offers 5 sets of tees for all different levels of abilities, the course is not overly long but demands to be strategically strong.
